one of my attempts to shoot glamour photography..or better...what we understand under glamour photography here in czech

Your model looks stiff and uncomfortable - and the pose is totally unnatural. Can you contemplate any instance (apart from your photoshoot) where this scenario could possibly happen? What is the point of the pool table? Why is she holding a pool cue? If it's to remind the audience this is meant to be arousing, let your mantra be, "If an image is genuinely arousing I don't need props to prove the point. If it's not, I'm doing it wrong".

The poses and settings of your "glamour" photos are not edgy enough for modern eyes. They are old fashioned but not in a cool, retro-burlesque way.

I think you should either look at classic 50's cheesecake a la Bettie Page and/or some of the current photographers (David LaChapelle and Bruce Weber are 2 that spring to mind but there are hundreds of others), take inspiration and channel it in to your own work.

Thank you for your long comment. To answer few of your question, i will use some questions too. Why should scenario possibly happen ? Not all shots are reflecting things that happened or could happen.

why pool table ? because she asked me.
Why cue ? ...because pool table. ..

As you mentioned here name of David LaChapelle , maybe go through his pictures and tell me how much of his scenarios (apart from his photoshoot) could possibly happen ? And i don`t talk about props.

As far as shooting is just my hobby and not job, i will go as i like it.

I think the picture is on the border between erotic and porn. Technical I think the picture is well done, but the way the model poses get the artistic to disappear. The image is too direct in the expression and leaves little to the observer. :-))

more than glamour i think it's sexy with fishnet stockings but i agree zorilla the pose doesn't look comfortable and natural, maybe with second leg on table too would have been easier for her...everytime i shoot a model i say to her "i ask you a pose but please be comfortable, take the pose you like the best that is closer to what i search" anyway i love your pic, the framing with table and two windows behind, the model is a beauty and i wish to see more of same set ;o)

I really like this photo and I think Zorilla's comments are over the top. The comments would be better if they were constructive instead of negative. But everyone is entitled to their opinion. The pose does look a bit awkward with her leg up on the pool table, but provocative and slightly erotic nonetheless. But uncomfortable? Probably not. Anybody that knows anything about artistic posing, especially in glamour photography, knows that some of the best poses are neither comfortable nor natural. If they were comfortable, then we wouldn't have to create them when we pose a model, now would we?
