Bottle of vine

This is one of my still life photo, nothing special about it...just still life. Here i didn`t use flash light, only available light from left side of picture and reflecting desk from right side of picture.
Hm. Maybe to bring you to discussion....Do you know, for what was used that machine in background ? Yes, i know it`s easy, but it`s just to talk a bit about this picture.

I'm guessing some form of printing press. Just a guess.
A fine quality still life with remarkable clarity. While I sip the wine you can tell me all about this interesting machine.

Great still life. The detail is really good. My guess is that its a bottle corker. Do I win? I'll be sipping wine with Barbara until I hear.

I'm still trying to recover from previous stimulations....
I was trying so hard to find where did you hide her in this picture....
Not a wine person myself, maybe a bottle of whisky will help me see her somewhere.... :-)
As for the machine, is looks like some kind of torturing machine by the secret service.... :-)

@Ti: Thank you, Ti, i can imagine your vision with bottle of whiskey and havana cigar :-) You not really winner about machine, but i think that the creaziest idea is yours :-). It`s printing press, so boss could use it like torture machine for drunked employes :-))

@DaveB: Thank you Dave.... :-)...you should made your guess about machine...seems there are few ideas making discussion nice :-)..I`d advice Ti`s idea and Barbara and Steve right answers :-)

Thats a good composition and lightning. The only thing I don't like is that maybe you've used the unsharp mask too strong. I can see it in some of you pictures, but in this one where the details like labels ore cork are more important, is more obvious.

@Joan Mercadal: This is one of my older picture, captured by my old good D100., i had there some custom setup about sharpening,because it was adviced to keep pictures sharp. i was capturing jpgs. Now with my D2x camera i am capturing only raw, so i am using different camera setup. Thank you for comment :-)

@e11even: in the background it is old printing press....we usually drink vine here without cheese...i guess, as in cotext of backround..there has to be some mouse that already eat the cheese :-)
